Michael Bay’s Production Company Platinum Dunes is in talks to take control in producing the next installment. Platinum Dunes has been responsible for the remakes of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street to name just a few.

Todd Farmer re-pitching H3D?
Well it seems that Todd Farmer hasn’t wiped his hands of any involvement with the next installment JUST yet. Farmer has taken to his twitter account yet again and reaffirmed that his original pitch for H3D(which picks up from the end of Zombie’s vision) was rejected by the studio(indication that the studio has listened to fans and will NOT continue Zombie’s vision?) however he has stated that he will come up with a different take…
Halloween Found Footage or Friday The 13th? and PG-13?
A few days ago we reported that it was unlikely Todd Farmer would pen the screenplay for the upcoming Halloween 3D because the script he wrote last year wouldn’t go with whatever the official poll results ended with. It was that same day that it was reported on Todd Farmer’s Twitter account that he said “Dunno what to do or think any more. I’m fired because I won’t do a PG13 horror or a found footage Myers. Hollywood blows.”
But as of 9/7/11 ShockTillYouDrop is reporting that the “lost footage” film is actually a Friday The 13th in the works….
Todd Farmer still writing Halloween 3D ?
New “News” for the site, but old news in general. Its been “rumored” that Todd Farmer the writer of Jason X and the My Bloody Valentine remake is set to write the new Halloween film – I say rumored because this news is back from 2010 and I don’t think there has been any news since. All that is known is that he wrote a first draft back in the summer of 2010…
